Is there any real question as to where this gets played first?

If the MVFC sticks with an 8-game schedule starting next year with USD in, that means we have 2 OOC games for 2013 scheduled, if you cound USD as a conf. game with 8 total MVFC games. Kansas State and Montana State are the OOC games.

UND has 11 games for 2013 as well with Montana, Valpo, and South Dakota St as OOC games. Maybe there is talk and someone got excited. I think the game will happen one of these years. But with only 3 OOC games at least UND can see why NDSU said no to every year. I hope there could be some kind of a Dakota 4 rotation every year (works for NDSU being in the same conference with SDSU and now USD) but we do need to see the Sioux-Bison game played sometime. The earliest would be in the 2012 playoffs.

UND plays Black Hills State on Aug 30th, and NDSU doesn't have a game that date. So maybe.....

In all seriousness, NDSU never gets as little as 30 students for a basketball game, let alone a football game. (least # of students I have seen at the BSA for a game was around 50-60)

Student attendance at football games are horrible (maybe its because of the GWFC and crappy home games against South Dakota Tech of Mines or whatever) but if they could come out like they do in hockey the games would really be in UND's favor.
