Something I felt needed to be said

I know that this is the FCS Discussion but after a week away to do some thinking, I figured that since most of the people that needed to see this post in this section, I thought Id post it here.

As many of you are certainly aware, I have developed quite a "reputation" around here for being very draconian in how I handle my moderator duties and as a result I have upset a lot of people and certainly undermined UAH's attempts to return AGS to a vibrant discussion board where people can discuss the best division in NCAA football (and the only one with a TRUE champion at the Division I level).

That being said I wanted to say to the AGS community that I am sorry. I acted in a way that does not live up to the standards of the board as a whole and treated a number of you with disrespect. You all are adults and I should treat you as such (even if we dont necessarily agree the majority of the time). I know that it would take quite some time to at least mend bridges and fences that Ive broken over the past year and certainly over the past few months, but I wanted to ask for forgiveness from you all and it is my hope that this is the first step in what will no doubt be a very long process for me of changing my image on this board.

And he will continue to be. I think this is part of what HL is saying there...people can disagree, have the discussion, and so forth and there is usually not a need to step in ask that another point of view be clamped down on.
