Most incoming high school freshmen weren’t even born the last time the University of Montana was not named in the pre-season to win the Big Sky football Conference.
So alas maybe the target is somewhat off the back of the Grizzlies, who were selected third in both the media and coach’s poll released Tuesday.
It’s the first time since 1997 Montana was not tabbed the pre-season favorite.
