The excitement is building around the Jacksonville State football program in anticipation of the 2011 season, which the Gamecocks kick off by playing host to UT Martin on Sept. 1 at 6 p.m.
JSU returns 17 starters from last season’s 9-3 squad that finished second in the Ohio Valley Conference and lost to Wofford 17-14 in the opening round of the Football Championship Subdivision playoffs.
