DURHAM, N.H. -- The University of New Hampshire has announced a change in the date for this year’s Homecoming celebration after realizing it was originally scheduled to coincide with the observance of Yom Kippur. The date, originally slated for the Oct. 8 Villanova football game, has been moved to Oct. 29 against Rhode Island. University officials apologize for any inconvenience this might cause friends and alumni of the university.
