Montana up 40-33 at the half. Most of the place is full of Montana fans and they are LOUD. Andrew Strait is lighting it up for UM right now, and Kemp for Nevada is finding a good rythm. This will be a tough second half -- let's hope the 12 seed pulls through!

Also -- I talked to a friend at my old high school, and she said there is hardly anyone in class, they're watching the game at home on TV or on a big TV that the staff put in the library so they could watch too

Yeah -- Imagine what it will be like if the Griz pull it off. Montana's first win in the tourney since 1975 -- when they nearly upset UCLA (lost by three) in the second round. UCLA went on to win the title.

Congrats to the Griz. I wish I had had more faith and stuck with Montana, which I had picked originally, but changed my mind.

Great to watch Montana play today. I saw most of the first half and some of the second before class cut into the day. I really enjoyed watching your post play. Nice to see that coaches still teach some fundamental footwork down low! I picked you guys to win and so far am the only one to get it right! Good luck in the next round!

Make sure to watch the big men from UNI and Witchita State's Paul Miller. Very sound inside.
Congrats to the Griz. Funny how the big wigs at ESPN have been hyping Nevada as one of the best Mid-Majors in the country and they get beat today and should have lost their conferenct tourney game. MVC is where its at!!!!!!!

Not surprising with Krysko at the helm, and having Tinkle as an assistant. Both were very good big men for the Griz.

I have UNI pulling a stunner vs. G-town. Shows that fundamentals still play a large role in college basketball. :hurray: You guys have some great teams out of the MVC. I think it would be nice if some of the schools with I-AA football teams started up a rivalry in basketball with each other.
Good luck, UNI, Witchita and Montana. Keep it going!

Nice win, Griz. Great showing for the Big Sky. Who would've thought the Griz basketball team would go deeper in their tournament than the Griz football team did in theirs.
