Ryan Dudchock will be the starting center for the Dogs. Ryan started every game last year at this position. Some type of post-season recognition for this player is probable. Dudchock was Honorable Mention All-State as a junior in high school, and was being heavily recruited by Vanderbilt. A severe leg injury robbed him of what likely would have been a tremendous senior season, and several schools backed off. Fortunately, he accepted the offer from Samford, and fully recovered from the injury. Dudchock will be among the best centers in the SoCon this year.
