What exactly about that article caused you to conclude that Katz didn't think they should have gotten four bids?

Actually heard him (OK, not in the article), Billy Packer, etc. make their case that four teams from the MVC shouldn't have gotten in the NCAA's along with four from the ACC and four from the Big 12. Packer was actually the worst of the two, especially after his interview on PTI.

With six teams in the top 40 in RPI (the ACC and Big 12 couldn't equal that), I think the MVC could have gotten five teams (i.e. Missouri State) had there not been some upsets in other conference tourneys.

I agree that the Valley needs to produce now. Its going to be really bad if we go 0-4, but I don't think thats going to happen. The only game that concerns me is the Bradley vs Kansas game. The Braves could come out the way they've been playing the last few weeks and scare the crap out of KU, or just the opposite and get rolled by 30.
