Nice matchup - don't get to see too many Patriot/Southern tussles outside of the playoffs (and even then!).

Sounds good to me. Here's hoping for some good games. Always nice to get games in other parts of the country. It helps out recruiting.

WOOOHOOO!!! Way to expand our horizons beyond the A-10/NEC/Ivy pattern our OOC schedules have for the next few years. :hurray: :hurray: :hurray:
Unfortunately I graduate in 2007, but I'll have to find my way back to Hamilton for this one. Can't wait!

Not to mention in 2008 we'll be playing I-A Buffalo the week before... I sure hope our boys are ready!!! This incoming class will be juniors.

Great News.
A couple of thoughts.
1. Same years we play Clemscum (I Think). Take it easy on us.
2. We may have moved to I-A by then :D
3. Hope the games are early, I here it gets cold up yonder.
Sounds great. Now I will hit your link and actually read the story.

Great match-up. It seems in the past couple of seasons teams are really starting to branch. Great for 1-AA

Big Ups to Colgate/Furman for putting this together, this is another chance for the PFL to earn more respect

Well just remember. early September is dang close to August in the sunny, humid south.
Too bad it isn't sooner than '08.

I like this a lot. Could make for a tough schedule in '08 especially, at Clemson and Colgate. But playing good teams pays off in the end, assuming you make the playoffs that is.
Except for geography, the schools have a lot in common, too. In any case I'm a huge fan of I-AA schools scheduling good I-AA competition, and it's particularly nice in light of the increasing availability of I-A games.
