2012 TXST Football Schedule

Got to give TXST some credit - this is not a bad first full FBS slate in the least bit... the WAC part of the slate stinks, but for them to land 'regional' opponents like Houston, Texas Tech and New Mexico in home-and-home arrangements is exactly what their fans wanted...

Nevada and Navy are not bad additions either...

Nice schedule. If SFA is the final game the sched may be balanced the next year. If not 2013 will have more away games. Lots beter than the ULM and La Tech schedules when they went D1, but I think they were Independents to start off. Hope it works out for them.

Certainly, it will give the WAC schools a bigger recruiting presence in Texas, with TX ST and UTSA in the Conference.

We'll see if TXST can get six home and six away games annually... the WAC's expansion is going to play a big role in that and I'm sure they'd love more than anything if they could get four home and four away in league play.
