To all the FCS schools whose baseball teams are in the regionals! Would be nice to see several in the World Series. GA Southern has host South Carolina tonight at 7:00pm.

Results of FCS participants thus far (Fullerton won't play until 11 pm):

Texas State lost to Kent State 7-2 (Austin)
JMU beat FIU 11-7 (Chapel Hill)
CCU beat UConn 13-1 (Clemson)
Jacksonville lost to Miami (FL) 7-2 (Gainesville)

IN PROGRESS
Maine at North Carolina
Bethune-Cookman at Florida State

The rest of the FCS field has yet to play. (Austin Peay at Ga. Tech, Princeton at Texas, Ga. Southern at South Carolina, Alcorn at Rice)

DAY 1 FCS-PARTICIPATING BASEBALL TEAMS RESULTS:
Texas State lost to Kent State 7-2 (Austin)

Florida State nipped Bethune-Cookman 6-5 (Tallahassee)
Princeton lost to Texas 5-3 (Austin)
South Carolina beat Georgia Southern 2-1 (Columbia)
Rice routed Alcorn 14-2 (Houston)
Sacred Heart lost to Clemson 11-1 (Clemson)
Austin Peay holds on to beat Georgia Tech 2-1. (Atlanta) - UPSET OF THE DAY!

Another upset of the day - Gerrit Cole takes the loss as UCLA loses to U. San Francisco 3-0.
