Jeremy has made the Dean's List EVERY semester since enrolling at Samford. Last night he was honored at the SoCon Honors Dinner in Charleston SC, as he was named one of only 25 SoCon athletes to receive the Coleman Lew Leadership Award. In scrimmages this spring, Jeremy was giving a really good impersonation of Auburn's Nick Fairley both in appearance and performance. Towns had to take a RS season last year due to a sports groin injury. He definitely must be 100% judging from the spring he had. This is a BIG defensive lineman that is agile and VERY quick, and I don't mean just for his size. He made several B'ham All-Star Teams in basketball while in HS. IMO, Jeremy Towns will be a well known name to SoCon offenses this season.
