Eastern Kentucky University head football coach Dean Hood announced today that Dane Damron has been promoted to offensive coordinator.
Damron is in his third season on the EKU football staff. He spent the previous two years as the special teams coordinator. Nine of the 11 Colonel offensive starters from last fall are returning including junior quarterback T.J. Pryor, who was the 2009 OVC Freshman of the Year, and junior wide receiver Orlandus Harris, who ranked second in the OVC in receiving yards (940) in 2010.
