Villanova University offensive tackle Ben Ijalana was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft. Ijalana was the 49th pick overall. He becomes the first Wildcat to be drafted by an NFL franchise since tight end Matt Sherry was a sixth round selection by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2008. Prior to Sherry, Brian Westbrook was the last Wildcat to be drafted (3rd round by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2002).
