The above are team standings after the semifinals Friday night. Penn State has a virtual lock on the team title, which will mean an Eastern team will be the NCAA D-I
Wrestling Champion for the first time since 1953!

Cornell ran into a "Black Friday" ambush as several of it's top seeds fell Friday night: Lewnes, Bosak, and Simaz. Only Dake at 149 will wrestle for the Big Red Saturday night. ESPN will carry the Finals live at 7:30 p.m. EST.

Lehigh, meanwhile, will have TWO FINALISTS: Hamlin at 184 and Rey at 285. Hatchett at 165 also earned All-American status this evening and will wrestle for 7th place on Saturday morning.
This is Lehigh's best showing since 2003 when they finished tied for 3rd with Ohio State. And the great thing is that all 8 qualifiers return next year.
