In the hunt for the NCAAs/NIT?

Which schools on here are hunting for a spot in the NCAAs or NIT?

Georgia Southern is the #1 seed in the SoCon tournament, we've wrapped up a spot in the NIT but we're hoping for a birth in the NCAA tournament.

UM is the #2 seed in the Big Sky Conference, with their final home game tonight agaisnt league leading NAU. If the Griz don't make the NCAAs, but make it to the conference championship, I think that they should be a good bet for the NIT.

WKU won the regular season title in the Sun Belt and go into the tourney as the #1 seed. We have a 21-6 record and should get a NCAA dance card, even if by some chance, we do not win our Conference Tournament. ESPN had us play a "Bracket Buster" game against Northern Arizona last week in which we won by 11. WAY TO GO TOPPERS!

Bucknell will likely win the PL and negate the need for two Patriot teams. If they somehow stumble or the team gets lost on their on campus trying to find Skoja Pavillion on March 10, then Bucknell will probably get an at-large bid into the NCAAs. Many weaker big conference teams has made it possible to get in all of these mid-majors. On a side note, I find it very intriguing to see the A-10 get one team in, while the MVC might get four, or even five if lucky. The A10 has fallen mightily in terms of quailty.

But in Patriot land, here is the tourney..

8-Army at Bucknell
5-Lafayette vs. 4-American at Bucknell
7-Navy at Lehigh
6-Colgate vs. Holy Cross at Lehigh

my prediction is Bucknell beats Lehigh by 10 for the title. Bucknell, despite their cinderella success, has not won a major game at home. They will this time though. However, we are not strong enough for an NIT bid like last year.

Just one change...HC is the 2 seed and hosts Navy...Lehigh is the 3 and plays Colgate at HC...HC and Lehigh split the regular season, but HC has the better RPI...
