Quick Take: The Tribe signed just 15 players , but in our view, made a pretty good splash given their limited scholarship resources...we like the versatility, athleticism and upside of the group as a whole and feel it's a class that will help keep them highly competitive in the rugged CAA, and FCS in general.

What we like: We like a lot about this class, especially the impact players! Out of 15 signees, we rate at least five as having potential to make immediate impact, with the entire class rating at least average or better on our scale. Our favorite is DL/OL, Jasper Coleman, whom we feel has potential to dominate on either side of the ball - we also see NFL potential! We love the athleticism and quick release of dual-threat QB, Mikal Abdul Saboor, and believe the Tribe nabbed a huge steal in undersized OL, Andrew Jones. We also like the instincts and closing speed of DB, DeAndre Houston-Carson, and the motor and upside of DL, Jared Templeton. We also like transfer RB, Keith McBride, and pro-style QB, Christian Brumbaugh. LB, Luke Rhodes stands out as well. Another positive is versatility...several in this group show prowess on either side of the ball.

What we don't like: Not much about this class we don't like, other than it's a small one, which obviously is unavoidable...could also stand some more wow factor at WR, but that's being picky.

RANKING THE TRIBE RECRUITS
Jasper Coleman, DT/OT - Listed as DL: FCSR Rating: 45 -- Passes the eyeball test! Love the length, bulk, explosiveness & motor...could easily weight 290-300 lbs without losing much quickness...dominates competition on video...can play either side of the ball...we see NFL potential.

Michael Abdul Saboor , QB - Dual threat: FCSR Rating: 40 -- Vertically challenged but has great feet & quick, compact release...plenty of arm strength...shows accuracy...can make necessary throws...elusive runner...performer against good competition...skills to play RB if QB doesn't work out.

Andrew Jones, OL: FCSR Rating: 40 -- Not very tall, but love the feet, explosiveness and nasty attitude! Sustains in the running game through the whistle...good pass blocker...versatile...could play anywhere on the offensive line...not so sure he wouldn't make a pretty good nose tackle.

DeAndre Houston-Carson, DB: FCSR Rating: 40 -- Nice length for corner...will get bigger/stronger...instinctive w/ good closing speed...shows ball skills...adequate tackler who plays physical...questionable top end speed but plays fast...versatile enough to play corner or safety in our opinion.

Jared Templeton, DT : FCSR Rating: 40 -- Can't teach size/frame/athleticism combination and he's got it...good visible motor on video...gets up field...runs well for size...a bit raw, needs work on technique...listed as DT but may be better fit on the OL...like the fact that he came back quickly from summer knee injury...shows toughness!

Keith McBride, RB - FCSR Rating: 35 -- Navy transfer...good solid back w/ above avg size and strength for position...like the vision and cutback ability...not a true burner but doesn't get caught often...shows good receiving skills...solid in the screen game.

Christian Brumbaugh, QB - Pro Style Pocket: FCSR Rating: 35...good size, will get bigger...calm demeanor, with pretty good pocket feet & awareness...accurate, catchable ball...average release & arm strength...fair mobility, won't win many games with legs but has enough escapability to keep play alive...performer at high school level.

Luke Rhodes, LB: FCSR Rating: 35 -- Gd size, solid athlete...like his length & ability to play passing lanes...appears to be fundamentally sound... one of those guys that just looks like a good "football player" on video...can never have enough of them!

Zack Fetters, QB/ATH/DB: FCSR Rating: 30 -- Another good football player...doesn't do anything great but everything solid...has enough moxy and skill to contribute as QB...decent arm strength with quick release...throws ball on time...rangy & instinctive with good ball skills as free safety...looks like a good guy to have on your team.

Braxton HIcks, DE - Pass rush specialist: FCSR Rating: 30 -- Like the motor & first step quicks...relentless...gets after QB...we question the listed size and ability to play run...can he be effective on running downs???...move to LB may help cause...good football player on video!

Anthony Johnson, WR: FCSR Ratiing: 30 -- Adequate size at present, will get stronger...sound route runner...shows ability to go get the ball, but catches too many balls with his body...not a burner but runs well enough...projects as a solid average FCS wideout.

Louis Petrocelli, OL: FCSR Rating: 30 -- Big bodied, mauler...has now size...physical at point of attack...moves surprisingly well in open field for his size...needs work in pass protection...limited to playing inside from what we can see.

Nick Easter, OL: FCSR Rating: 30 -- Good present size w/ room to weigh 300+...better run blocker, best when he pulls ...fair explosion/first step...feet get stale in pass protection...show better when he gets out and runs...should be solid down the road.

Tre McBride, WR: FCSR Rating: 30 -- Raw athlete w/ good instincts...played in Wing-T offense - lacks polish...instinctive w/ ball in hands...gets up field in a hurry...more quick than fast...wouldn't surprise us if he flourishes down the road.

Jared Velasquez, DB: FCSR Rating: 30 -- Versatile athlete with good instincts and ball skills...nothing special physically, but faster than he looks, and game seems to come easy to him...again, another good football player you can never have enough of.

MONTANA

QUICK TAKE:This was a tough class for us to evaluate, with lots of differences of opinion, but we finally settled on a consensus take. As you would expect from a program like Montana, the Griz were able to land several impact players from out of state, while locking up some raw local talent with some physical upside. The Griz signed 23 in this class (we evaluated 22**), including a couple of quality holdovers from 2010, with an emphasis on young, athletic OL , as well as some heavy-hitting defensive backs. While this is a good class, with potential to be very good, we're not completely sold on the quality of depth. We give some benefit of the doubt, but patience will be required.

WHAT WE LIKE: Of the 22 we evaluated, 12 rate as above average, with 4 rating as elite. The best players in our view are Addison Owen and Hassan Richardson. Owen is a "war daddy" who lit us up the first time we pushed play. Richardson appears to us to be a major steal, and should make his presence known shortly upon rival in Missoula. We really like the two re-signs from the 2010 class, in Justin Whitted and Christian Licciardi. Whitted shows enough versatility to play anywhere on the back end, and Licciardi has potential to be a dominant DT, pretty early in his career. JC cornerback transfer, Kevin Frank, is a good football player with very good ball skills. He should make immediate impact. After that, it's a mixed bag with several guys who could go either way in their development. Matt Hermanson grew on us the more we watched, and a couple of us feel he could become an All-American caliber safety at some point. We have similar opinion of Zach Gratton though maybe not as much upside. We also like O-linemen, Dahl, Kaleikini and Schmaing, though patience will be required...CB Nate Harris impressed us with his versatility.

WHAT WE DON'T LIKE: Not a lot we don't like, though not as much obvious high impact as we might have expected from a program the caliber of Montana. We don't see an impact QB or RB in the group and overall team speed is questionable.


RANKING THE GRIZZLIES RECRUITS
Hassan Richardson, WR: FCSR Rating: 45 -- Potential game-changer! Tall, physical, big-bodied WR - type that's always open - good route runner on video - will go get it in a crowd - not a true burner but gets off LOS w/ physical burst and tough to jam - some sources question hands and foot speed, but we see enough on video to not consider that an issue - potential to play on Sundays.

Addison Owen, SS/LB: FCSR Rating: 45 -- WE LOVE THIS GUY!! Physically ready now - fundamentallly sound, nasty downhill player who packs a punch - processes game quickly -plays fast - skills to be make major impact from day one in our view.

Christian Licciardi, DT: FCSR Rating: 40 -- Re-sign from 2010 - Immediate impact DT - Stout, fireplug build - plays strong w/ good pad level - tough to move - shows good motor w/ very good first step quickness.

Justin Whitted, DB: FCSR Rating: 40 -- Re-sign from 2010 - Athletic, physical safety -big-time hitter w/ ball skills...more quick/instinctive than fast...does not possess great open field speed, but has plenty enough to play strong safety.

Kevin Frank, CB/Safety: FCSR Rating: 35-- Good football player w/good size - ball skills, play w/ back to receiver - decent range & closing speed - play safety or corner - reports 4.4 speed but we don't see it on video. Should make immediate impact with his versatility.

Nate Harris, CB: FCSR Rating:35 -- Good athlete, shows prowess on both sides of ball - decent size for corner - quickness w/ ball skills - physical player - versatile.

Joe Dahl, OL: FCSR Rating: 35 -- Nice frame w/ room for strength & weight gain - underveloped at present but love the feet and hands...good motor - chance to be quality LT - banking on him gaining 30-40 lbs, but could be a good one down the road.

Matt Hermanson, Safety: FCSR Rating: 35 -- Gd football player...like the length & frame- room for strength gains..plays aggressive & downhill...hitter...box player...maybe LB down the road but will be productive no matter what position.

Zach Gratton, Safety: FCSR Rating: 35 -- Long, proj build...athletic w/ good speed & instincts...football player! Will hit - shows ball skills.

Samson Kaleikini, OL: FCSR Rating: 35 - Tall, projectable frame - long, athletic w/ good feet - comes off ball - raw technique - plays in option offense.

Archie Woullard, WR: FCSR Rating: 35 -- tall, athletic WR - fluid w/ some burst - polished route runner - ?? hands.

John Schmaing, OL: FCSR Rating: 35 -- Projectable build...long, athletic, with good feet...chance to play LT...must get stronger.

Trent McKinney, QB: FCSR Rating: 30 -- athletic, spread QB - ability to damage w/ legs - nice arm strength though release is long, and slow, especially on deeper routes - lacks polish as passer - has enough athleticism and raw skill to develop above our profile.

Jesse Ginn, DT/OL: FCSR Rating: 30 -- Big bodied space eater - decent athlete & feet for size - plays high - lacks pursuit speed - better OL prospect for us - size and footwork are pluses, but would hope to see dominate more vs level of competition.

Nelo Butler, RB: FCSR Rating:30 -- compact, low center of gravity - shifty w/ good feet & balance - patient, gd receiver -not a blazer but can make u miss - nice spin move.

Connor Lebsock, Safety:FCSR Rating: 30 -- Projectable build - instinctive - don't see much speed or explosiveness but shows enough to develop into an average safety down the road.

Stephen Shaw, K: FCSR Rating: 30 -- Kickers are tough to evaluate on video, but shows enough leg strength to rate as an average prospect.

Matt Berg, K/P: FCSR Rating: 30 -- Same as above.

Gavin Hagfors, FB/HB/RB: FCSR Rating 25 -- FB/HB type - good now size w/ room to get bigger/stronger - will block - solid receiver - adequate runner, can pound for tough yards - no home run threat.

Aschan Richards, TE: FCSR Rating: 25 -- Tall, long, narrow frame, awkward, physically underdevloped - has some 1st step quickness but doesn't show much strength or explosiveness at present - may come in time, but have to dream a little bit to get him there.

Chase White, QB: FCSR Rating: 25 -- Program type QB - Average size w/ some room to fill out - shows a quick release w/ adequate athleticism, arm strength & accuracy.

Jonathan Richards, LB: FCSR Rating: 20 -- Program player w/ projectable size - needs time in weight room - below average athleticism but shows good football instincts.

VILLANOVA

QUICK TAKE: This is what a championship class is supposed to look like at the FCS level. We see impact and potential All-Americans littered throughout the class. Often times, the substance doesn't match the hype but it does in Nova's case. They were able to land impact playmakers on both sides of the ball and made the absolute most of limited scholarship numbers. Of the 18** players we evaluated, 8 rate as elite prospects, and 14 of the 18 rate as above average. If the Cats do indeed pursue a move to the Big East, this class is a pretty good start in that direction.

WHAT WE LIKE: Just about everything! The Cats landed playmakers at QB, RB, WR and TE, along with a couple of potentially dominant D-linemen. We LOVE big WR, Clay Horne, DT Jordan Hunter and TE Earnest Pettway, and feel all three may have a pro future. Chris Polony has skills to become a championship level QB, and we're high on RB, Jamal Abdur-Rahman. We also really like DE, Noble Ajakaiye, LB Dillon Lucas and DB, Jerry Miles...in most classes these guys would be the stars of the show.

WHAT WE DON'T LIKE: Other than a couple of head scratchers, we were hardpressed to find anything negative about this class. It was light on offensive linemen but hard to argue with the one they did take.


RANKING THE WILDCAT RECRUITS
Clay Horne, WR: FCSR Rating: 45 -- Big-time size w/ skills to match - can't teach 6-6 - huge upside - quick , with good open field speed for size - will go get it! Has hoops background - skills to become dominant big WR at FCS level, and perhaps beyond - reminds us some of former Northern Colorado Bear and current San Diego Charger, Vincent Jackson.

Jordan Hunter, DL: FCSR Rating: 45 -- Athletic, quick, 300+ DT - has bulk, strength and athleticism to dominate at FCS level - disruptive w/ ability to push the pocket & play the run.

Earnest Pettway, TE: FCSR Rating: 45 -- Very impressive on video - shows all the tools and skill to become dominating force at FCS level - big, strong, athletic TE who can get vertical and catch the football - versatile enough to split out as WR - physical at point of attack in run game - hardpressed to find better HS prospects at TE at FCS level.

Chris Polony, QB: FCSR Rating: 40 -- Good looking QB prospect - tall, athletic w/ projectable build - some rawness w/ mechanics & release but shows good instinct as passer - big arm w/ good touch, especially on the deep ball - makes tough throws on the move and to his left - throws catchable ball but can gun it when needed - runs well enough to be a threat.

Jamal Adbur-Rahman, RB: FCSR Rating: 40 -- Shifty, elusive, instinctive runner - good vision with good cut-back/bounce ability - decisive yet patient - surprise power for smaller back - good receiver - more quick than fast - functional speed, not elite.

Jerry Miles, DB: FCSR Rating: 40 -- Good looking player! Rangy, athletic, projectable build w/ long arms - very active and versatile - plays fast - good tackler in space - can play in the box or cover - figures to be productive no matter where you line him up.

Noble Ajakaiye, DE: FCSR Rating: 40 -- Long, athletic, projectable frame...very good first step quickness w/ good burst - good use of hands - gets after the QB - chance to develop into premium pass rush DE.

Dillon Lucas, LB: FCSR Rating: 40 -- Ball-hawking, tackling machine w/ nose for ball - plays through trash well - very productive player - adequate size w/ room to get bigger - solid pass defender -

John Robertson, QB: FCSR Rating: 35 -- Athletic, tough & fundamentally sound for most part - good ball handler w/ good pocket feet & awareness - tough to determine on highlight video, but appears to read defenses well - throws accurate, catchable ball - threat with legs - good speed & quickness for QB - lacks ideal size - release gets long and slow on certain throws - adequate arm strength but not a gun.

Kevin Monangai, RB: FCSR Rating: 35 -- Compact w/ low center of gravity - shifty with good feet & vision - runs with good pad level - tough to get on the ground - solid speed but not a home run threat.

Justin Rhinesmith, OL: FCSR Rating: 35 -- Athletic OL w/ some physical upside - good feet w/ ability to get out and run - comes off the ball well - shows motor - physical - raw in pass protection.

Patrick Williams, DT: FCSR Rating: 35 -- Quick, athletic, undersized DT - active playmaker w/ above average pursuit speed - shows athleticism & ability to drop in coverage - biggest questions for us is size to handle playing inside - plays a bit high for a shorter DT.

Joey Harmon, LB: FCSR Rating: 35 -- Now size - fundamentally sound, productive player - better football player than athlete - fast brain, reads & reacts well - good tackler - adequate vs the pass - will be where he's supposed to be.

Morgan Craig, TE: FCSR Rating: 35 -- Possession/Run blocking TE - now size - physical in run game - good technique - extension of offensive line - solid route runner w/ solid hands .

Vince Kowalski, OL: FCSR Rating: 30 -- Athletic, physically underdeveloped OL - good footwork w/ very good foot speed for an OL - needs to gain weight but could settle in at TE worse-case scenario.

Matt McCann, DB: FCSR Rating: 30 -- Good football player - versatile - can play on either side of ball - good instincts as runner and physical w/ ball skills in secondary - type who will be good on special teams and solid wherever you play him.

Corey Majors, LB: FCSR Rating: 30 -- Physically mature body - listed at 6'0, more like 5'10 or 5'11...two-way player, also plays fullback...head scratcher for us - highly rated by Rivals and Scout, but one we had trouble justifying - didn't see much explosiveness or quickness on either side of ball - fundamentally raw as LB...sluggish. ..benefit of doubt with average grade.

Joe Sarnese, Safety: FCSR Rating: 30 -- Solid football player - doesn't dazzle but shows subtle, fluid athleticism and good football skills - solid average safety prospect.

QUICK TAKE: In our view, the Phoenix, under new head coach Jason Swepson, did a surprisingly good job with limited scholarships, especially at the top, landing several quality safety/LB/DE types, as well as an impact OL and RB. The class is a little top heavy with 4 elite prospects, and 7 of 15 rating as above average, but it thins out after that.

WHAT WE LIKE: For starters, we LOVE safety, Miles Williams! We had to watch the video several times to be sure we were seeing what we were seeing, and what we were seeing is a great looking player! We can say the same for OL, Derek Vereen, and we also really like big back, Joe Jones and LB, Robert Davis. Defensive ends, Michael Pearson and Gary Coates also impressed as did LB, Odell Benton.

WHAT WE DON'T LIKE: The depth of this class thins out after the headliners. Other than Jones, we don't see much wow factor on the offensive side of the ball as far as skill players go. We're not sold that Rice can stay at QB.

RANKING THE PHOENIX RECRUITS
Miles Williams, SS, 6-2, 190: FCSR Rating: 50 -- This is what they're supposed to look like! Total package in our view - big, physical, athletic safety - hits like a truck - excellent change of direction and closing speed - sure tackler who brings the lumber - sees field, anticipates well - we didn't get a great look at cover skills but we saw nothing to lead us to believe he's deficient - We see NFL potential!!!

Derek Vereen, OL, 6-3, 280: FCSR Rating: 45 -- One of the better looking OL we've evaluated - has now size w/ great feet - explosive off the snap w/ ability to roll hips - athletic in pass protection - runs well down field - appears physically ready to contribute right away from what we can see.

Joseph Jones, RB, 6-1, 190: FCSR Rating: 40 -- Nice looking, I-formation big back w/ frame to carry 210-215 - deceptive runner w/ good open field speed - decisive w/ subtle moves - hits hole w/ authority - runs high but has enough power to run through arm tackles - didn't see him catch ball or pass protect on video.

Robert Davis, LB, 6-1, 225: FCSR Rating: 40 -- Physical specimen w/ upside - safety skills in a LB body - explosive athlete - long arms & ability to cover are big assets - not sold on open field speed, but has makings of becoming dominant FCS defender.

Odell Benton, LB, 6-1, 185: FCSR Rating: 35 -- Long, rangy, projectable build - frame to weigh 220 - versatile athlete w/ good football instincts - aggressive, hitter - good arm length & speed for pass coverage - physical against the run, can rush the passer - also shows skill on offensive side of ball - looks like a nice steal for the Phoenix.

Michael Pearson, DE, 6-2, 230: FCSR Rating: 35 -- Athletic DE w/ physical upside - fast twitch guy who gets up-field in a hurry - pass rush instincts - solid against the run - could end up being a 270 lb DT.

Gary Coates, DE, 6-2, 230: FCSR Rating: 35 - Rangy, athletic hybrid DL/LB - lines up all over the place in video - good motor - uses hands and athleticism well - solid pass rush skills and pursuit speed - doesn't look as big as listed but appears to have frame to hold 250-260 over the long haul.

Ricky Brown, WR, 6-3, 195: FCSR Rating: 30 -- Big WR w/ ability to go get the football - we don't see a burner but has deceiving speed - smooth strider, eats up ground on defender w/ size and athleticism to win most one-on-one battles - appears raw as a route runner & lacks overall polish - wouldn't surprise us if he eventually becomes a 225-230 hybrid TE/WR.

Thomas McGuire, OL, 6-4, 255: FCSR Rating: 30 -- Athletic OL w/ nice length - undersized at present but shows solid strength w/ projectable build - good feet, comes off the ball w/ authority - raw in pass protection but has attributes to develop into solid OT at FCS level.

Mark Bridges, FS, 5-11, 186: FCSR Rating:30 -- Decent size for a safety w/ some physical upside - decent speed & range - has knack for finding football - adequate range and cover skills - not real physical in video we evaluated - tends to catch ballcarriers instead of punish - may just need to get physically stronger.

Jerrell Armstrong, DB, 5-9, 160: FCSR Rating: 30 -- Undersized, CB/KR prospect - athletic & shifty - raw cover skills but shows some instinct & ball skills - reports 4.23 speed but looks closer to 4.6 on video - average FCS CB prospect for us.

Andre Davis, ATH, 5-10, 165: FCSR Rating: 30 -- Projectable athlete with skills to play on either side of ball - HS QB who makes things happen w/ ball in his hands - elusive w/ ability to change direction - not a burner but looks to have average speed and should be a nice contributor as a WR or CB in time.

Blake Rice, QB, 5-10, 185: FCSR Rating: 25 -- Undersized, spread QB - good athlete w/ elusive running skills - average speed - raw as passer but shows nice arm strength & touch on deep ball - has athlete value if position change warranted.

Will Wentz, TE, 6-4, 220: FCSR Rating: 25 -- Program type TE w/ projectable frame - solid blocker - possession type receiver - needs time to get bigger and stronger.

Michael Crispi, LS, 5-9, 160: FCSR Rating: 20 -- Undersized long snapper w/ below average snap times in .90 to 1.00 range - best asset is accuracy.

NORTH DAKOTA STATE

QUICK TAKE: The Bison did a nice job of finding projectable, athletic, physical, " football players" with versatility. As expected in a low population state, they had to branch out to neighboring states of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois, and tap into ties in Arizona to fill out the class. But make no mistake, the star of the show is home grown, and should have Bison fans eagerly awaiting the next four to five years.

WHAT WE LIKE: Of the 19 players we evaluated, 11 rate as above average in our view, with four rating as premium. We were shocked, surprised and thrilled to find a nugget like QB, Carson Wentz, in this class and feel the sky is the limit as far his upside is concerned. We also really like DE/DT prospects, Josh Lisenby and Joe Horvath, and feel OL Josh Colville has a chance to make an immediate impact if need arises on the offensive line. Danell Miles is a good looking free safety, and we also like safety prospet Frank Veldman. The TE class is solid, with Lucas Albers and Derek Lee. We had mixed opinions on LBs Nick Soliere and DeShawn Dinwiddie, and may be underrating both when it's said and done.

WHAT WE DON'T LIKE: Other than Wentz, we don't see much impact at the skill positions offensively, and we also don't see a great deal of team speed collectively speaking.

RANKING THE BISON RECRUITS
Carson Wentz, QB, 6-5, 205: FCSR Rating: 50 -- Tool package doesn't come much better than this - has all the tools and attributes to develop into an elite FCS QB, and then some - prototype body w/ room to grow - excellent feet, mobility and pocket awareness - big arm, can make all the throws - tight, compact release - accurate on the move, can throw easily to his left, against body - excellent student (4.0, 29 ACT) - we see an NFL prospect and a guy with potential to dominate at FCS level.

Josh Lisenby, DT, 6-2, 236: FCSR Rating: 40 -- Good football player who makes plays - like the motor and ability to run in the open field - versatile enough to play inside or out though somewhat of a tweener physically - must gain significant weight to be viable DT - will he maintain quickness at 270+?? We think he can.

Josh Colville, OL, 6-3, 280: FCSR Rating: 40 -- Good looking OL prospect - an athlete playing OG - strong, physical, athletic build w/ good mass - explosive first step with ability to get out and run - physically speaking, should be able to step in and contribute early if need is there.

Danell Miles, FS, 6-0, 190: FCSR Rating: 40 -- Classic free safety with good size and athleticism for position - rangy, instinctive player with good closing speed and ball skills - shows ability to tackle in open field - plays physical.

Ryan Sanford, QB, 6-2, 180: FCSR Rating: 35 -- Shows some polish - nice footwork/ mobility in and out of pocket - shows ability to throw on the move - throws easy, catchable ball - doesn't possess a gun but arm strength adequate enough to make routine throws - needs to get bigger & stronger but like the upside.

Nick Scoliere, LB, 6-2, 205: FCSR Rating: 35 -- Another good football player with versatility to play multiple positions - projects as OLB - nice length & frame to add weight - shows ability to both cover and rush the passer - good ball skills - questionable raw speed, but adequate enough for projected position.

Frank Veldman, SS, 6-4, 190: FCSR Rating: 35 -- Rangy, projectable build - good athlete with skills to play on either side of ball - like the length, range and ball skills...listed as strong safety though we like better at free - would make a quality WR as well.

Joe Horvath, DT, 6-3, 245: FCSR Rating: 35 -- Physically mature - like the energy, motor and first step quickness - a tweener physically, but plays big - if he can get to 270-280 range without losing quickness, could be a steal.

Lucas Albers, TE, 6-6, 240: FCSR Rating: 35 -- Big-framed, wide target w/ deceptive athleticism - extension of offensive line - has frame and athleticism to make for quality OT at some point.

Berkley Grimm, FB, 6-0, 240: FCSR Rating: 35 -- Fits the physical profile of a true fullback - physical, punishing blocker - solid in screen game - runs hard between the tackles - not flashy but type of guy you need in ball control offense.

Jordan Champion, DB, 5-9, 160: FCSR Rating: 30 -- Versatile athlete who projects as corner - evaluated mostly as a Wing-T RB - a bit undersized and speed doesn't overwhelm, but shows good instincts and ability to change direction .

C.J. Smith, CB, 6-0, 175: FCSR Rating: 30 -- Listed as CB, evaluated on video as RB - adequate size & speed to play corner - shows enough footwork, change of direction and ball skills to project average at position.

Andrew Oakland, WR, 6-4, 195: FCSR Rating: 30 -- Solid WR prospect - Nice size and hands - projectable body - not a home run threat but has skills to develop as competent possession receiver.

Joey Sonnenfeld, FS, 6-3, 185: FCSR Rating: 30 -- Limited video but like the frame, length, and athleticism - shows good ball skills - may be be better suited on offensive side of the ball.

Andrew Bonnet, FB/HB, 6-3, 230: FCSR Rating: 30 -- Listed as FB but we're evaluating as TE/HB where we feel he's a better fit - Long, strong, athletic build w/ room for strength gains - deceiving athleticism - doesn't appear very fast, but shows some elusiveness and strength with ball in his hands - solid hands.

Derek Lee, TE, 6-4, 240: FCSR Rating: 30 -- Solid TE prospect - good size w/ frame to add weight - decent speed & route runner.

Matt Jones, RB, 5-10, 200:FCSR Rating: 25-- Solid size w/ limited physical projection - ordinary back.

Lyle Norman, DE, 6-4, 230: FCSR Rating: 25 -- Limited video look but has projectable build - shows decent athleticism but first step quickness & explosiveness appear lacking on video - will definitely have to bulk up to play inside - not sure he has enough fast twitch to play on edge.

QUICK TAKE: General consensus among FCSR staff is that even though this is a smaller class, Cal Poly recruited extremely well to fit their needs. This class is loaded with diverse, athletic guys with good visible football IQs. Four of the fifteen we evaluated rate as elite prospects, with nine rating above average. The entire class rates at least average or better. We didn't have video for Roland Jackson or Chris Judge.

WHAT WE LIKE: Good athletes across the board - we like the offensive skill and firepower - Deonte Williams, Garrett Steele, and Willie Tucker have chance to be real difference makers, as does Jordan Hines - though undersized, we like the athleticism of the OL group - Karlton Dennis and Chris Fletcher are nice looking, true corner prospects - Andrew Walsh and Matt Reza are potential impact safeties.

WHAT WE DON'T LIKE: Not much size in the trenches - No projected impact at QB or on the D-line - corners are talented but short.

RANKING THE MUSTANG RECRUITS:
Deonte Williams, RB, 5-10, 190: FCSR Rating: 40 - Adequate size - shifty runner w/ good balance & vision - lets things develop - not a burner but decisive w/ good acceleration - finishes well - has skins on the wall at FCS level w/ 900+ yards at NAU as freshman - should make immediate impact.

Garrett Steele, RB, 6-1, 205: FCSR Rating: 40 - Long, wiry, athletic build - very good athlete w/ ability to make things happen on either side of the ball - shifty runner w/ good vision and acceleration - good versatility as receiver - can also throw the ball - enough power to finish runs - quality safety prospect as well in our opinion - we like the way he plays!

Andrew Walsh, SS, 6-0, 195: FCSR Rating: 40 - Very polished, productive safety - has now size w/ good instincts - processes quickly - good closing speed & ball skills - sure, physical tackler - chance to contribute immediately.

Willie Tucker, WR, 6-3, 195: FCSR Rating: 40 - Physical, athletic build - now size - polished route runner w/ ability to adjust to ball in air - strong hands - above average speed, plays fast - some upper body stiffness but has all the physical attributes and polish to make immediate impact.

Karlton Dennis, CB, 5-9, 180:FCSR Rating: 35 - Undersized corner - generously listed 5-9, but plays big, with plenty enough speed- very intelligent w/ good instincts for position - good hips, change of direction - above average cover skills - very good ball skills - attributes to contribute immediately if need is there.

Jordan Hines, WR, 6-2, 190: FCSR Rating: 35 - Good size & strength for WR position - physical, athletic guy w/ ability to get vertical - excellent leaper, can go get it - good fit for CP offense - appears a bit raw at this point - needs polish as route runner - tends to cradle ball though does flash ability to use hands - may be a work in progress early on, but too good of an athlete to keep off the field in our opinion - 48 ft triple jumper.

Matt Reza, FS, 6-0, 190: FCSR Rating: 35 - Solid size - instinctive player who processes quickly - good range and ball skills.

Chris Fletcher, CB, 5-9, 175:FCSR Rating: 35 - Listed as CB, evaluated as RB - undersized for position, but shows good hips and ability to accelerate & change direction - questionable open field speed but shows enough football instincts and ball skills to be adequate at position - return game potential boosts stock as prospect .

Stephen Sippel, OL, 6-3, 250: FCSR Rating: 35 - Undersized at present, but has projectable frame - very athletic for position - aggressive w/ good feet & quickness - perfect fit for CP style offense - needs time in weight room.

Chris Brown, QB, 6-0, 200: FCSR Rating: 30 -- Athletic, shifty QB who makes things happen with legs - solid size for CP's style of offense - adequate passer w/ awkward delivery, affects accuracy - good feet, deceptive speed - a glider.

Dylan Gutierrez, OL, 6-4, 250:FCSR Rating: 30 - Listed as OL, evaluated as TE/DE - undersized for an OL but good fit for CP offense - doesn't appear as big as listed, but above average athlete for position - good feet, runs well - questionable strength levels to play in the trenches - will need to bulk up and increase explosiveness - athleticism will carry.

Marcus Paige-Allen, DT, 6-0, 275: FCSR Rating: 30 - Squatty, fireplug build - not much room on frame to add good weight - a bit undersized, but explosive off snap & plays w/ good leverage.

I think the first number is the class's average rating and the percentage is the % of recruits that are rated as "Elite."

Points is average score of all players rated. Percentage is percent of rated players given a 40 or more.

These guys moved to Nigeria where they are currently selling FCS recruiting reports for a handsome price. They also occasionally let some lucky people know that they have money in Nigerian banks and only a bank account number is needed to transfer it out. Great guys.
