UMass' defensive coordinator for the past seven seasons, Keith Dudzinski, was hired as the inside linebackers coach at the University of Maryland on Wednesday. Dudzinski has been a part of the most successful era in UMass football and played a key role in coaching numerous All-Americans including this season's Buck Buchanan Award finalist Tyler Holmes. Overall, Dudzinski spent 11 years coaching in Amherst with four coming from 1998-2001, as the Minutemen won the I-AA Championship in 1998.
