Just another reason why Mikey is still racing cars in the Cup Series. He's got the personality that a lot of those corporate sponsors are looking for (even if he only does win at Talladega and Daytona). If you have the NASCAR 2005 video game for your Playstation or Xbox, Michael does a whole set of very interesting interviews with drivers from the Cup Series. Waltrip might actually take this to a higher level once he is finished driving. I can see it now: FOX's Sunday coverage of NASCAR featuring Darrel and Michael Waltrip!

Michael Waltrip Celebrity Poker Tournament
Speed Channel taped the Michael Waltrip Celebrity Poker Tournament at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas for a series of specials to be broadcast on the network this spring.
Players in the Texas Hold’em tournament included NASCAR's Waltrip, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Tony Stewart, Benny Parsons, Casey Mears, Brian Vickers, Ryan Newman, Kyle Petty, Elliott and Hermie Sadler.
Speed Channel put up $100,000 in prize money, which will be split among Waltrip’s Operation Marathon charity, Petty's Victory Junction Gang Camp, a racing themed camp for ill children, and the charity of the winner's choice.
THIS WEEK - April 14th:
The second table of the Michael Waltrip Invitation. Six more of the top drivers in NASCAR vie for prizes for their favorite charities, headlined by North Carolina's Victory Junction Camp. Kyle Petty, who founded Victory Junction Camp in memory of his son Adam, heads up the field along with Brian Vickers, enny Parsons, Casey Mears, Jimmie Johnson and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. The action comes from the Palms Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
