Someone asked this over a year ago I think, but just out of curiosity, who here gives money to a I-A football team besides your favorite I-AA team? I am a donor to the University of Oregon's Duck Athletic Fund and just sent them my 2006 pledge check. I have no ties to the school, have never set foot in the state of Oregon, but I love PAC 10 football and the Ducks have been consistent winners, sans a 5-6 2004 season, and have been at or near the top of the PAC 10 for nearly a decade now. Not to mention, Mike Belotti is one of the best coaches in America AND can't forget those, now for 2006, 12 different uniform combinations! HA! I love it! So yes, I am a I-A and I-AA booster, Oregon and Western Carolina.

No, I only give money to JSU and high schools. Donations are sent to somewhere around 10 or 15 high school programs.

I attended Georgia Southern University and the University of Georgia but because I did my undergraduate work at GSU I give them all my support. Besides, UGA has more than enough money to waste.

I also gave money to Division II's Presbyterian College's Scotsman Club in 2005. I love helping colleges out as best I can. Not bragging, but if my extra dollars can help an unfortunate youngster attend college on some form of a scholarship, I feel good.

Once i officially become an alum of Temple University i will gladly donate to the schools athletic department if they get their "stuff" straight. The football program finally seems to be headed in the right direction. With our moronic president finally being forced out, the future of Temple in general looks promising. Unfortunately my 4 1/2 years on Broad Street was part of a 7-8 year stretch that saw the school grow leaps and bounds but also suffer several embarassing administrative problems that forced several popular faculty members to leave.

Don't worry, more money goes to Western Carolina than to Oregon, but to me, it just feels good to be able to give and, hopefully, help some youngster out. GO CATAMOUNTS!!! (and Ducks)

With the young and energetic staff Al Golden brought in, the future looks great for Temple football. They should be a major factor in the MAC, starting in 2007. Best of luck!

I have season tickets to the University of Arizona because I love college football. So technically, I give them money.
I can recall the day I "officially" became a Wildcats fan: In 2004, against Wazzu, RB Mike Bell fumbled away the ball with less than 2:00 to go and a 1 point lead. I was so disgusted, I threw my hat onto the ground. :D
I might be moving to the Phx area this summer, but I plan on keeping my UofA tickets.

I already give to a I-AA school, the ONLY I-AA school that I care about and that is Western Carolina University. They get my Catamount Club dues every year, season ticket money, merchandise dollars, as well as the privilege of hearing my loud and obnoxious mouth at their football tailgates, basketball pregame receptions, and receptions for road football games. That said, I can spare Oregon a little change as well. Peace.

Just askin'!

Because I don't care about those teams. Sorry. I do like watching the Montana-Montana State rivalry. Caught last year's Bobcat win on Altitude network. Good game! Plus, I like PAC 10 football.

Why not NAU?
Cause NAU is like a 4 hour boring-a$$ drive from Tucson. If I lived in Flag, I'd have NAU tickets. If I moved to Phx instead of Tucson 6 years ago, I'd have Arizona St. tickets.
If I move to Phx, I'll keep my UA tickets because I really believe Mike Stoops is turning around this program. That and my fiance will be a graduate, so she'd like to keep going to games.

That is really impressive.....Come out for a Ducks game at Autzen this fall......take that week with a few days in Oregon (on the coast, Portland, etc) -- then make the drive along the Columbia up through Eastern Washington and Idaho into Western Montana -- head all the way up through Glacier Park -- drop down into the Mission Valley and keep heading south until you hit Missoula, pull upto Washington-Grizzly Stadium just around 1:05 and then you've just had the GREATEST SEVEN DAYS OF YOUR LIFE.

I've already lined up my entire vacation schedule for 2006, so no go. BUT, I am contemplating attending a Duck game in 2007. Heck, Oregon's schedule is already laid out through the 2009 season, so there's a lot of good choices. Can't wait to get out to Autzen some day. GO CATAMOUNTS!!!(and Ducks)

Even by train, I can attest to what DuckDuckGriz said (although you pass through Eastern Washington and the tip of Idaho at night). That part of the country is beautiful.

Nope, only UNI.
But my brother attends Iowa State and my father is an alum of Iowa. Therefore the house really supports all three.
