When Pete was at Lehigh, I remember him telling me that all HC's kept a file in their desk with the names of impressive guys they meet along the way for the express purpose of networking for future positions. Certainly, your assistant felt it was a good move for him. Let's face it, virtually all assistants at this level are looking to get to next one.
