San Marcos, Texas - New Texas State head football coach Dennis Franchione announced Thursday afternoon that he has hired Mike Schultz, Darrell Dickey, Dennis Darnell, Jason Johnson, Craig Naivar, Brad Franchione, Mike Hudson and Reuben Vaughn as his new assistant coaches.
Schultz will serve as an assistant head coach, co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, while Dickey will be the co-offensive coordinator and running backs coach. Darnell will coach the offensive line and Jason Johnson will be the wide receivers coach.
Naivar is the new defensive coordinator and safeties coach, while Brad Franchione will be the linebackers coach and special teams’ coordinator. Hudson will coach the defensive line, and Vaughn will coach the defensive tackles.
Charlie Reeve was retained from the previous staff and will serve as the director of operations and recruiting coordinator....

Looks Like Fran has put together a good group of coaches.
With the shortened time frame these guys have for recruiting and great job they seem to be doing with that, I'm excited about the future of this program.
