Can the Sonics come back from the beating they are taking???

SAN ANTONIO (AP) -- Manu Ginobili is certainly good enough to start for the San Antonio Spurs. It's just that when he comes off the bench, he makes his club better.

Using his usual array of layups and long jumpers, the suave Argentine pepped up the San Antonio offense as soon as he stepped on the court Tuesday night. Ginobili ended up making 9 of 11 shots and scoring 28 points, leading the Spurs to a 108-91 victory over the Seattle SuperSonics on Tuesday night for a 2-0 lead in their second-round series.

Perhaps the easiest question in all of sports to answer.... NO. The bigger question is whether the Wizards are going to make it a series against the Heat. My prediciton is Wiz win tomorrow night, but then drop the next two. :(

New thug act?

The Spurs now smell blood and are going to sweep the Sonics. The Heat will wipe out the Wizards in 5.

The Heat will wipe out the Wizards in 5.The Spurs are a great team with some great players, but Bruce Bowen is just dirty, and devalues what the team does. I just don't think he will continue to get away with his tactics against teams from larger markets that the NBA would like to see in the Championship game for ratings.

The sad part is SA would almost certainly won the series even without Bowen's crap.

Seattle doesn't have the horses to beat the Spurs in a 7 game series. Same with the Wizzards against the Heat. Those two should be over in 4 or 5 games.

Now, the Dallas/Phoenix and Indiana/Detroit series could go 6 or 7 games. Still rooting for a Phoenix/Miami matchup for the Finals.

So the Sonics hold off the Spurs tonight with a last sec shot by the spur man...still don't think that will mean crap in the long run  :deadhorse
