Chidi Oha, a 24-year-old Southern University law student from Houston, had never been to a football game at A.W. Mumford Stadium. Never saw Rickie Weeks play baseball at Lee-Hines Field before he left in 2003. Never saw the Human Jukebox perform live, for that matter.
Why in the world, then, would he stand for more than an hour on the bluff Thursday afternoon, with the temperature near 40 degrees, a snap in the air and a breeze whipping off the Mississippi River?
The answer, he said, is obvious.
As he saw it, when “SportsNation” comes to the heart of Jaguar Nation, attendance was a must.
