I just posted a minute ago in another thread about the goofball that gave Delaware a vote after being beaten in the final by Eastern Washington. But then it hit me......the vote wasn't meant for Delaware, it was for Delaware State. xlolx

15 spot jump wasn't enough? Only 13 votes back from them anyway.

Did Joe Biden have a vote? I could understand Delaware getting a No. 1 vote in the current BCS system. But this is FCS, where there IS a playoff, so the the national champion be the undisputed No. 1.

I'm happy to see Lehigh end up in the Top 15. I believe it is well deserved.

Well, goofball and Biden go together well but I don't think Joe has a vote.

My only guess is that it's a "protest" vote from someone who thought the 4th-down call robbed Delaware of the game.

The first place vote for Delaware is the most pathetic display of east coast bias I have ever seen.

that is such a shame for EWU that some idiot voted for Delaware. This system is all about avoiding that nonesense. EWU had a great season and played a really tough playoff schedule and played it well, congrats.
CAA @ 2,3,7,10....solid, but personally i would have put NDSU ahead of UNH

We beat them head to head. Won 3 post season games, 2 on the road and lost 1 on the road. They won 1 post season game at home and lost one at home. Makes zero sense.

They didn't show up at home. What makes you think they would have shown up in Newark? If GSU doesn't turn the ball over, their Newark experience would have been a bit different. I think we all agree on that.

What else would you expect from a Delaware advocate?.

What else would you expect from a Delaware advocate?.
As far as I can see the guy has absolutely no connection with Delaware at all, other than the fact that Towson plays in the same conference.
My theory is that it was a ploy for some media attention. Why else would have any reason to discuss Towson after the regular season, much less the post-season.

Well, GSU lost 5 games and we lost 3. I guess some of the pollsters looked at the entire season rather than the end. You should feel happy to be in top 5 with 5 losses.
Overall, the Southern Conference should be happy with a 4,5 and 6 finish. It makes for an entertaining upcoming season.
