First, congrats to Eastern Washington on beating the blue girl chickens.
Second, go to ESPN.com and check out the main page. Nothing on the FCS championship.
Third, go to ESPN.com and go to NCCA Football. Again, nothing on the FCS championship.
This is pathetic.

...and also nothing new.
Say what you want about FCS football and the excitement of the playoffs... America doesn't care.

Not surprised about the lack of coverage on the website. But I'll at least give ESPN credit for improving the quality of the broadcast itself over what it's been in years past. If this was like other years, half of the broadcast would have been spent talking about Cam Newton, or Jim Harbaugh, or anything else that had nothing to do the actual game being played. They've done a much better job in the last couple years, it seems, of focusing on the teams and players involved and giving the game the respect it deserves.

Unfortunately you are probably correct. Tonights game was very exciting and well represented the FCS brand of football. But watch your local sportscast tonight and unless you are from Delaware or Washington, the game will likely not be mentioned.

Let's be honest.....with all of the schools that have moved up to FBS, FCS football is really no different from Division II as far as national perception.

Sure the brainwashed folks who watch and follow ESPN don't care...but do those people really get "it" anyways. I say no they don't!

Oh no. The Cotton Bowl has a small link on the ESPN college football page too, just like the FCS National Title game. The sky is falling. lol
