BOZEMAN, MT – Less than three months after announcing a campaign to raise money for the expansion of Bobcat Stadium, Montana State University Foundation officials declared today that the EZ Campaign has reached its goal and the project is moving forward.
“We have exceeded the $10 million goal,” said Montana State University Foundation president and CEO Michael Stevenson. “Construction bids are being formalized, and we will have a new end zone at the beginning of the 2011 football season.”
MSU President Waded Cruzado, who had stated at the outset of the campaign that “failure is not an option,” was pleased with the news. “What a great way to start off the new year,” she said. “This would not have been possible without the support of hundreds of donors who believed in our vision and responded with speed and generosity.”
