When Georgetown three of its five non-confernece opponents from 2009, well, it takes two to (un)cut a deal, so to be fair I think GU probably wanted out as much as UR did, while ODU and Howard were a little more forthcoming about wanting to find different schools to play. In ODU's case, a cross-town game with Hampton is a better deal than a game in the now-six-years-under-construction 2,500 seater in DC.

Still, I think UR could match up with a SoCon opponent, or even a low Sun Belt team in week 2.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty clear neither UR or GT wanted to continue the series at this time. As to the playing SoCon/Sun Belt, I'm guessing UR is going to want to have 6 home games more years than not from now on.
