Down to the final two for the NoCo job. Figure the Alcorn State coach leaving the SWAC for the Big Sky would be like going from Double-A baseball to the New York Yankees...

Logan's decision leaves the Bears with two known candidates -- Alcorn State University head coach Earnest Collins Jr., a former player and assistant at UNC, as well as Bill O'Boyle, the head coach at Chadron State College.

Three others -- Colorado State University-Pueblo coach John Wristen, Colorado School of Mines coach Bob Stitt and University of Montana defensive coordinator Mike Breske -- have withdrawn from consideration for the job.

Collins was the right choice all along in my opinion. He's a true Bear, great passion for the game and has a great eye on talent. Nice job UNC!

I think he's going to do really well...He really stood out to me on weekly teleconferences and I think his passion will do him well on the recruiting trail...
