Lehigh at USC Tonight!

Mountain Hawks, with a ten-day break due to exams under their belt, head to rainy Southern California tonight to take on the Trojans, who are coming off a razor thin loss to Kansas a few nights ago. Size will certainly be a factor, but it will be interesting to see how well we can stay with these guys.

Mountain Hawks ran into a cold spell three quarters of the way into the first half, trailing 19-14, but then USC went on an 18-2 run to put any suspense to bed. Final score was 76-49. Lehigh shot only 32% from the floor and 57% FT. Horrible. USC on the other hand shot 48% and 9/15 from 3-point land! USC had previously knocked off two Top 20 schools prior to the close loss to Kansas, so outcome not surprising. Would have been nice to be more competive, but four kids on the team from the west coast got to play in front of their family and friends. LU now returns for game against St. Peters on 12/29.
