The athletic department is so obsessed with using the system they don't let the band play, 90% of the time if there is any controversy to the call they won't show the replay, and the Meet the Hens segment is ridiculous. But that has less to the do with the board itself, which works fine, but has taken away from the overall college stadium experience.
