Delaware wide receiver Tommy Crosby missed the end of Saturday’s 27-10 win over Georgia Southern in the NCAA Division I-AA (FCS) football semifinals, but he may not miss the NCAA title game Jan. 7 in Frisco, Texas, vs. Eastern Washington.
Delaware coach K.C. Keeler said today that Crosby should be able to play despite the concussion that left him out cold on Tubby Raymond Field Saturday in the third quarter when he was blocking for an Andrew Pierce run play.
Crosby regained consciousness before being placed on a backboard and being taken to Christiana Hospital, where he was evaluated and spent the night. But the game was delayed and stadium crowd and both benches grew quiet.
