#11 Moutain Hawks played difficult hosts to #13 CMU's Chippewas in their first ever foray into venerable Grace Hall. Before a packed house of over 1,500, Lehigh won 7 of 10 bouts, including defeats of 3 of 4 returning All-Americans for CMU. Biggest upset occured at 133 where unranked Frank Cagnina beat returning AA and currently ranked #9 Sentes with a takedown with 2 seconds remaining, bringing down the thunder from the rafters. Wrestlers now out of action for finals and will participate in the Midlands Open Tournament at Northwestern in late December. Next home match will not be until Thursday, January 20, when the #1 ranked Cornell Big Red will visit at 5,600 seat Stabler Arena. Don't know if it will be a sellout, but a big crowd should be on hand.
