"We've got to go out and hit the recruiting trail, but we'd like to go out and do that with a little more stability in terms of who the guy (head coach) is going to be."

"National Signing Day is Feb. 2, 2011. Dixon's future at SSU likely will not be determined until an athletics director is hired. And a deadline for hiring an AD has not been announced."

The position has been vacant for one year.
