Central Connecticut State head football coach Jeff McInerney has seen the two stages of Bison football.
As an assistant coach for North Dakota State in 2003, he was part of the beginning of the transition to Division I Football Championship Subdivision football. As the head coach at CCSU, he saw the fully playoff eligible product in 2008 when he brought his Blue Devils to the Fargodome.
NDSU won 50-14.
