Former UMass All-American safety Jeromy Miles has been promoted to the active roster by the Cincinnati Bengals after spending the entire season on the team's practice squad. Miles will be the sixth UMass product to play in the NFL this season. He will be eligible to play on Thursday night (No. 45) as the Bengals take on James Ihedigbo and the Jets on Thanksgiving night. He played in five preseason games for the Bengals and made six tackles.
