After leading Coastal Carolina to its fourth league title and second playoff berth in its eighth year as a program, Chanticleer head coach David Bennett was named Big South Conference Coach of the Year in a vote consisting of the league coaches and media representatives, while sophomore linebacker Andrae Jacobs was named the league's Defensive Player of the Year and was one of 12 Chanticleers selected to the All-Big South team.
