LAX season just about ready to go. UD has a Top 20 team this year and Lehigh is returning a very solid team from last year, having gotten some votes also in the preseason poll. Hens take on Mountain Hawks at Ulrich Stadium on Lehigh's Goodman Athletic Campus starting at 1pm .

I think Colgate may have a break out year this season. Keep an eye on them.
And the women? They could actually win an NCAA tourney game this year if they take care of business...

With the windchill at 9 degrees and snowflying about, the Blue Hens held off the Mountain Hawks at Ulrich Stadium. UD jumped out to a 4-0 lead , but Lehigh closed to 4-3 at end of quarter. UD held lead to halftime at 5-4, but in the third, Lehigh rallied and took their only lead of the game at 6-5. Game went back and fourth with Delaware leading by one going into the fourth and continued to expand going up 10-7. But Lehigh closed with two goals in a minute and half with under two minutes remaining but couldn't get the game tying score. Final, 10-9. Delaware now 2-0. This was Lehigh's first game of the year, and indicates a strong team that has potential to make noise in the very tough Patriot League, with Navy, Army, and Bucknell already in the Top 20.
