Jenkins MEAC Coach of the Year, Johnson Offensive POTY; 10 Players on All-MEAC Teams

The Classic is not played yet and the season's not quite done but the votes are in and tallied, and the Wildcats wrap up the year with a pile of postseason honors, including two top-of-the-conferenc awards and ten total players on the All-Conference teams, officials from the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference announced Friday. Most notably among the group, Head Coach Brian Jenkins took home the title of MEAC Coach of the Year, with his outstanding success in just his first season as a head coach. Matt Johnson also grabbed a top honor, named MEAC Offensive Player of the Year. In addition, Wildcats filled seven spots on the All-MEAC first team, and three on the second team.
