Fixing the other thread, to separate the teams that have autobids, the 7 D-I win teams (the ones that have it already), and the ones that can get there.
Autobids:
Robert Morris
Lehigh
Appalachian State
Northern Iowa
Already there (seven D-I wins):
Big Sky:
Montana St. 8-2
Eastern Washington 8-2
Big South:
Liberty 7-3
CAA:
Delaware 9-1
W&M 7-3
Indy
Old Dominion 7-3
Ivy
Penn 8-1 (Ivy, does not participate)
Yale 7-2 (Ivy, does not participate)
MEAC:
Bethune-Cookman 10-0
S. Carolina St. 8-2
FAMU 7-3
Missouri Valley:
North Dakota St. 7-3
OVC:
Southeast Missouri 9-2
Jacksonville St. 9-1
Pioneer
Jacksonville 10-1
Dayton 10-1
Southern:
Wofford 8-2
Southland:
Stephen F. Austin 8-2
SWAC
Texas Southern 7-3 (but will win SWAC West if they win last game, meaning they are contractually obligated to play the SWAC championship)
Grambling State 8-2 (cannot play in playoffs due to Bayou Classic)
Can get to seven D-I wins or win autobid:
Big Sky:
Montana 7-3 (Six D-I Wins)
Weber St. 6-4 (but have to beat FBS Texas Tech)
Big South:
Stony Brook 6-4 (autobid only)
CAA:
New Hampshire 6-4
Villanova 6-4
Massachusetts 6-4
Richmond 6-4
Ivy
Harvard 6-3 (Ivy chooses not to participate)
Missouri Valley:
Western Illinois 6-4
Northeast:
Central Conn St. 7-3 (Six D-I Wins)
Duquesne 6-4
Patriot:
Colgate 6-4
Southern:
Chattanooga 6-4
Ga. Southern 6-4
Southland:
McNeese St. 6-4 (can win autobid)
Northwestern State 5-5 (can win autobid)
SWAC
Alabama State 7-3 (six D-I wins, but ineligible since they play in Turkey Day classic)
Jackson State 7-3 (six D-I wins)
First of all.....
..... HOLY COW ARE THERE A LOT OF TEAMS.
Second of all.....
..... who of you forgot about Jackson State and Old Dominion being playoff eligible? I sure did. They add a very, very, very intriguing subplot to this party.
Third of all....
..... there are a lot of teams that need to win this weekend to make it. Let's put it this way: if EVERY TEAM that needed to win to get two 7 D-I wins this weekend didn't do so, there would *already* be 20 teams with 7 D-I wins.
Damn. It's going to be a wild, woolly week this week.
