Bonus points likely to determine team score winner. Lehigh then buses up to State College to take on #6 Penn State, Sunday afternoon. Ol' "Wreck Hall" should be SRO for this slobberknocker as the Nittany Lions look for revenge after two successive defeats at the talons of the Mountain Hawks.
Week will end with the longest intersectional rivalry in the country as the Michigan Wolverines come to Stabler Arena on the eve of the Lehigh-Lafayette Game, #146.

Lehigh lost the first bout of the evening tonight by major decision, but stormed to seven straight wins and end up taking eight of ten bouts to smash Pitt, 29-7. Mountain Hawks' "Three Frosh" all won, with Austin Meys upsetting #19 Headlee, 6-4. Also, #1 Zach Rey beat #5 Tomei, 2-1 in OT. Only other loss was at 197 with Joe Kennedy losing 7-4 on a four point mistake. Most exciting bout was at 157 with Sean Bilodeau roaring back from a 10-5 deficit, caused by getting reversed onto his back, twice, and then pinning Tasser at 6:16. Good start for Lehigh who began the season at #17.

#15 Lehigh and #6 Penn State each won 5 bouts Sunday afternoon, but the Nits had two falls and Lehigh only had two major decisions as PSU prevailed 21-17. Despite the close loss, a lot of promise was shown by the frosh, and Hamlin (preseason #14 at 184) upset #3 Wright of Penn State, 4-3. Near sellout crowd of 5,287 watched in Rec Hall.
