I might be over reacting, but I saw on ESPN.com's Bracketology they have Duke the #1 seed in the Atlanta regional. The #2 seed in that regional... Gonzaga!! I just wanted to see your opinion on this, because I am guessing they want to see the two best players in the nation without it being the Final Four. Just wondering...

I know that they rank the teams on an S curve so the #1 1 seed meets the #8 2 seed in the elite 8. Gonzaga & Duke are both paper tigers & will be out after the sweet 16 anyways.

You really think that? What is your reasoning?

I think Gonzaga has a better chance this year then in the past because they defend on and off of the ball better. I've caught about 12 of their games this year and their defense has improved enough i believe for them to make a run to atleast the regionals if not Indy. Batista in the middle is one of the most underrated players in the country and is Morrison's Sheldon Williams. I think Depth is their biggest concerns especially with their front line players since they don't have much other then Batista, Mallons more of a Pittsnogle type player. I would be shocked if Duke didn't get to atleast the regional finals. I think Reddick and Williams will will them atleast that far. However Duke has been succeptible to poor shooting nights in the tourney which is usually their downfall. My final 4 right now would be Uconn, Duke, WVU and Tennessee or Ohio State.

Right now, this whole things is WIDE open. UConn just showed they're not impossible to beat as a very good Villanova team beat them on Monday night. I don't think Duke will win it all...but I'm not counting the Dukies out. I have to see the brackets before I make a pick, as someone might get an "easier" road to the finals. But with the two leading scorers in Redick and Morrison, don't call the Devils or Zags "paper tigers."
