STARS -Rueben Randle, LSU, had 125 yards receiving and a 75-yard score on a pass from Jordan Jefferson to lead the No. 12 Tigers 24-21 over No. 5 Alabama. -Matt McGloin, Penn State, threw for four touchdowns and the Nittany Lions beat Northwestern 35-21 for coach Joe Paterno's 400th career win. -T.J. Yates, North Carolina, threw for 439 yards and three touchdowns to help the Tar Heels overcome a fourth quarter turnover and surprise No. 24 Florida State 37-35. -Rex Burkhead, Nebraska, ran for 129 yards and two touchdowns to help the No. 9 Cornhuskers hold off Iowa State 31-30 in overtime without star quarterback Taylor Martinez. -Darron Thomas, Oregon, threw for 243 yards and a touchdown, and ran for two more in the top-ranked Ducks' 53-16 win over rival Washington. -Andy Dalton, TCU, passed for a career-high 355 yards and three touchdowns, and the No. 4 Horned Frogs demolished No. 6 Utah 47-7. -Kellen Moore, Boise State, threw for 507 yards and three touchdowns while hitting 18 straight passes at one point to help the No. 2 Broncos beat Hawaii 42-7. -James Sims, Kansas, scored four touchdowns, including the game-winner of 28 yards with 52 seconds left, as the Jayhawks mounted their largest comeback ever with 35 unanswered points in the final 11:05 to beat Colorado 52-45. -Justin Blackmon, Oklahoma State, had 173 yards receiving and a touchdown and also scored on a 69-yard run in his return from a suspension to lead the No. 19 Cowboys past No. 22 Baylor 55-28. -Brandon Weeden, Oklahoma State, threw for a school-record 435 yards and three scores in the Cowboys' rout of Baylor. -Cam Newton, Auburn, passed for a career-high 317 yards and four touchdowns, and ran for a fifth - all in the first half - in the No. 3 Tigers' 62-24 rout of Chattanooga. -Montee Ball, Wisconsin, ran for a career-high 127 yards and two touchdowns to help the No. 7
