The University of Northern Iowa football team held on to first place in the Missouri Valley Football Conference standings with a 30-20 win at Indiana State Saturday afternoon at Memorial Stadium. UNI kicked a field goal to end the first half to break a 13-13 tie and led the rest of the way.
