big shocker... no JMU players. we never seem to get love at the Senior Bowl. i don't really have any names that i feel they missed on our team, it's just disappointing.

RET-Todd Speight, Western Illinois

I must say I'm a little surprised at the inclusion of Speight. He's a great kick return guy, but he's been injured for about half the season and hasn't really played much.
If they were going to include a Senior from WIU's offense, I would expect it to be Matt Barr.

Then again, other than the players having to be seniors, I don't really know what their selection criteria is, so maybe there's other factors in there as well.

This is not the 'Senior Bowl', but the 'Senior Scout Bowl'...???

Seems to be another senior all-star game that just keep coming up!

oh WOW, i thought he was just calling it the wrong name... you're right, that is AWESOME!!! this will REAAAAALLLLLLLLLLY help with FCS exposure. people love the NFL and these guys are great prospects. am i missing Sczcur on the list, though? i never thought for ONE SECOND that he's playing baseball. he will get love from the NFL and will be drafted in the top 3-4 rounds.

edit: he's probably good enough to actually play in the "Senior Bowl" in Mobile... Ijalana definitely won't play in this game for that reason.

One of the Philly papers reported that both are playing in the Senior Bowl. Since it's the week before he has to make his decision with the Cubs, the feedback he gets from scouts and such will determine if he ditches baseball. I was hoping that his stock dropped enough that he'd do the smart thing and stick with baseball come February.

Can't believe that Curt Porter isn't on the list. He is a huge dominating OL.

With Matt's injury I don't see him going higher than the 5th-6th round and to be honest he would be crazy to even go to the NFL over the MLB. When you consider the money and how much wear and tear a player goes through in the NFL it is smarter, in terms of health, to go to MLB. I firmly believe Matt is using "I might go to the NFL if" as a bargaining ploy with the Cubs and really has not intention of trying the NFL.
