I'm surprised to see Butler number 1 with them losing their best player from last year.

Shocked that Nicholls, who is my favorite in the SLC East and probably the #2 team in the league - is not on there while UTSA is. Confusing!

Many of the national pundits believe Butler will be fine. Not at the same level, but that they have plenty of talent and a good recruiting class...

Wow, Lafayette leads the PL with 8 votes?? Followed by Lehigh (4) and Holy Cross (1)....Doesn't sound like the PL is expected to be very strong.

Surprised about Nicholls being absent also ... thought that Southeastern Louisiana (who has been picked to finish first in the SLC East in some publications) should have gotten some love along with Louisiana-Lafayette

Good to see StonyBrook with 31 votes and leading the America East. Hopefully we can break the top 25 as the season goes on.

American has six votes. We always forget about them in the Patriot, don't we? I'm a little surprised that Navy didn't get any votes.
