Coastal Carolina senior Dominique Davenport was named the Big South Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced Monday, for his play in the Chanticleers' win at Gardner-Webb. It was also announced on Monday that fellow senior Chris Walls was recognized as having one the nation's top defensive efforts by the College Football Performance Awards.
