Only thing lacking is a link to the Barbecue Church!!!!!!! And you thought McNeese fans came only for the game?

Maybe the Stadium will be Bower Stadium after the game. Jacob Bower is the McNeese QB.

Don't you mean Anderson Stadium? Wish Stroud was playing instead.

Nah, Bower's quick release, size, better arm to go more vertical, experience, and slightly better (very little) mobility is better to help offset the blitz package that Scott probably has cooked up. With Cody, we couldn't go as much vertical, and they would pack the line of scrimmage to stop our running game and blitz like crazy on passing downs not respecting any vertical passing by us.

C'mon, you really expect Stoker to blitz us? ;)

Well, I know it would be completely out of character for him, but I can just feel it coming. :)

I agree, but Bower also over throws his receivers, throws off his back foot too much, and when he runs he seems to look for contact instead of sliding. I wouldn't count his experience as a plus for him. Stroud has the potential for starting next year and he should get the reps/experience. He looked good against LSU and SELA as a potential starter.

Where should SHSU send the check for your scouting report on our QB? xlolx

Jacob was the starter when he got hurt and should get the opportunity to continue on now that he is healthy. Cody is the future and will get the snaps as deemed appropriate by those drawing a salary to make those decisions. if JB falters, CS will be there.

Our offensive wasn't exactly stellar in either one of those games. We can only throw so many short passes to backs in the flat, screen passes and short hooks and out routes before the defenses start creeping up to shut them down and shut our running game down.

We are going to need to get the ball down field against Stoker and the Sam defense or they'll smother us.

Seems we found our passing game yesterday with the young QB throwing for 300 yds. Wish Flanders would have been healthy. That would have been a nice compliment for the offense.

Couple more years and this team is going to be good. Our 3 conference losses are a combined 11 points. Still lots of growing up to do.

Until next season.

I wish Rb's Javaris Murray, Marcus Wiltz, Renaldo Young, Champlain Babin (only about 90% now as he can't cut sharp yet) would have been healthy. That would have been a nice compliment to the offense. :)

We could have used London Durham and Jace Peterson on defense. And now it looks like we have lost Jarrn Jackson.
