Indiana State freshman defensive back Calvin Burnett (Orlando, Fla./Hofstra) has been named the Missouri Valley Conference's lt;br />Defensive Player & Newcomer Of The Week today (Oct. 31) by the league office. The Sycamores improved to a perfect 5-0 at lt;br />home with a 41-30 victory over South Dakota State. ISU is currently 5-3, 3-2 MVFC and are in a tie for third place in the league lt;br />standings.
