LAKE CHARLES – The Nicholls State University football team trailed 21-0 and climbed back within striking distance – 21-14 – early on in the third quarter, but failed to come any closer at a comeback as McNeese State went on to win 24-14 in Cowboy Stadium on Saturday night.
